KUWAIT CITY, Dec 18: Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah, President of the Kuwaiti and Asian Aquatics Federations, extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes—on his own behalf and on behalf of the Board of Directors and all those involved in aquatic sports—to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on the second anniversary of His Highness assuming power.

Sheikh Al-Badr affirmed that the aquatic sports community in Kuwait renews its pledge of loyalty to His Highness, praying to Almighty God to safeguard Kuwait, its leadership, and its people, and to ensure that the country remains a land of safety and stability under His Highness’ wise leadership.

He noted that His Highness’ ongoing directives emphasizing care for athletes have placed a great responsibility on those leading the sports sector to translate these noble visions into practical action on the ground, particularly in addressing youth issues. He urged all stakeholders to intensify their efforts and dedication to achieve the shared goal of elevating and advancing Kuwait.

Sheikh Al-Badr expressed confidence that everyone will rise to the expectations of the political leadership, which has consistently stressed the importance of fulfilling the ambitions and hopes of young people.
