CAMDEN, NJ. — The Campbell’s Co. is set to make two leadership transitions within its operating committee.
Melissa Nippert has been named senior vice president and chief transformation officer. She will succeed Dan Poland, currently executive vice president and chief enterprise transformation officer. Meanwhile, Beth Jolly has been named senior vice president and chief communications officer. She will succeed Anthony Sanzio, currently executive vice president and chief communications officer.
Both Poland and Sanzio plan to retire at the end of Campbell’s fiscal year, which concludes Aug. 3.
Nippert has been with Campbell’s since April 2022, most recently as senior vice president of enterprise excellence and transformation. She also has worked as senior vice president of supply chain and innovation excellence, and vice president of supply chain transformation. Prior to Campbell’s she was vice president of business transformation at Oldcastle Infrastructure. Earlier she spent more than 12 years at Pinnacle Foods in various director positions. She began her career with The Dial Corp. as a food process engineer.
Jolly has been with Campbell’s for more than 23 years, most recently as vice president of communications, where she led communications for the company’s business divisions and growth office. She held previous roles at the company directing sales communications, internal and executive communications, and brand public relations. In her new role, she will be responsible for the company’s internal and external communications along with The Campbell’s Foundation and community affairs initiatives.
“I’m pleased to welcome Melissa and Beth into these leadership roles,” said Mick Beekhuizen, president and chief executive officer. “Both functions are critical to Campbell’s as we strengthen operations, build capabilities, align stakeholders and execute our growth strategy. Melissa has a proven transformation track record and has played a key role in advancing this work at Campbell’s. Beth is a highly respected communications leader with strong partnerships across the organization and is well positioned to expand her impact in this role. These transitions reflect our thoughtful succession planning and development of talent with experienced leaders ready to build on our momentum.”
