GLENVIEW, ILL. — Finlays Solutions has expanded its beverage platform to include aseptic manufacturing and fruit-based beverage capabilities for foodservice operators and product developers.
The addition of the capabilities follows the company’s acquisition of Leahy-IFP, Chicago, in January 2026.
Leahy-IFP is an aseptic packer and formulator of fruit-based beverages.
With Leahy-IFP, the integration offers customers several options with tea, coffee, botanicals and fruit-based solutions under one roof.
Options include aseptic manufacturing capabilities, which supports solutions to extend shelf life without using preservatives or refrigeration and enables broader distribution; expanded fruit-based beverage capabilities, which supports manufacturing refreshers, lemonades, smoothies and purees that may be integrated with tea, coffee and botanicals; and an innovation lab to provide development and testing opportunities with R&D and technical teams, according to Finlays.
“This integration has created the perfect blend of expertise to help meet exploding demand for natural beverages,” said Kathleen Timperman, chief science and innovation officer at Finlays Solutions. “Clean label and shelf stability are table-stakes for beverage innovation, and aseptic technology is the key to delivering both without compromises. What excites me most is that our customers can now move faster on hybrid concepts that resonate with consumers, like premium fruit teas with functional benefits.”
